Trello Integration
Portal extensionAgencyPro does not have a dedicated Trello integration, and Trello only allows its boards to load inside a short list of Atlassian and Microsoft sites. You can add a board to the client portal menu with an External link extension, which opens it in a new tab.
Why connect Trello with AgencyPro
If a client already follows progress on a Trello board, a menu item in their portal saves them hunting for the link.
Trello boards cannot be embedded inside the portal. Trello's security settings only allow boards to load inside certain Atlassian and Microsoft sites (we checked in October 2026), so AgencyPro opens the board in a new tab with an External link extension. Clients need access to the board on Trello's side: either add them as board members or make the board public. If you want clients to see request progress inside the portal itself, AgencyPro's own requests and statuses do that without Trello. How to set up Trello
- In Trello, decide how the client will access the board: as a board member, or with the board set to Public.
- Copy the board URL.
- In AgencyPro, go to Workspace Settings > Extensions and click Add extension.
- Choose External link, enter a navigation label such as Project board, and paste the URL.
- Connect it to each organization separately if each client has their own board, then enable and save.
Frequently asked questions
Can I embed a Trello board inside the portal?
No. Trello blocks its boards from loading inside other sites except a short list of Atlassian and Microsoft domains. AgencyPro opens the board in a new tab instead.
Do clients need a Trello account?
For a private board, yes, as board members. A public board can be viewed without an account, but anyone with the link can see it.
Does anything sync between Trello and AgencyPro?
No. The extension is a link. AgencyPro does not read or write Trello cards.
