Mailchimp Integration

Via Zapier

AgencyPro connects to Mailchimp through Zapier, not a built-in integration. A Zap can add or update a Mailchimp subscriber when a client is created in AgencyPro, and tag them so Mailchimp automations can start.

Connects via Zapier

AgencyPro connects with Mailchimp through Zapier, not a native built-in integration. You build automated workflows ("Zaps") with the AgencyPro app on Zapier, which has triggers for clients, requests, tickets, invoices, payments and order forms. You need the AgencyPro Plus plan and a Zapier account. Zapier's Free plan runs two-step Zaps; multi-step Zaps and premium apps need a paid Zapier plan.

Why connect Mailchimp with AgencyPro

Your client list is a marketing asset, but only if it reaches your email tool. A Zap on Client Created in AgencyPro can run Mailchimp's Add/Update Subscriber and Add Subscriber to Tag, so new clients join your client newsletter or onboarding emails without manual list exports.

Add only people who have agreed to receive marketing email. AgencyPro does not sync unsubscribes back from Mailchimp, so manage marketing consent in Mailchimp.

How to set up Mailchimp with Zapier

  1. Check that your AgencyPro workspace is on the Plus plan, which includes Zapier.
  2. Create a Zapier account if you don't have one. Check whether your Zap needs a paid Zapier plan.
  3. Open the AgencyPro app on Zapier and create a new Zap. Connect your AgencyPro account when Zapier asks.
  4. Choose the trigger: an AgencyPro event such as Invoice Created or Payment Created, or a Mailchimp event if data should flow into AgencyPro.
  5. Add Mailchimp (or AgencyPro) as the action app and connect that account.
  6. Map the fields, test with a real record, then turn the Zap on.

Frequently asked questions

Do unsubscribes sync back to AgencyPro?

No. Unsubscribes are handled in Mailchimp. Make sure you have consent before adding contacts.

Which AgencyPro plan do I need?

Plus, which includes Zapier.
