How to Set Up Slack
- Go to Settings → Integrations in your AgencyPro dashboard
- Click "Connect Slack" and choose the Slack workspace you want to connect
- Select which channel should receive AgencyPro notifications (or create a dedicated #agencypro channel)
- Choose which events trigger notifications (payments, new clients, project updates, etc.)
- Notifications will start flowing to your Slack channel immediately
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I send notifications to multiple Slack channels?
Yes. You can configure different event types to post to different channels. For example, payment notifications to #finance and project updates to #projects.
Will Slack notifications include sensitive financial data?
You control what information is included in each notification. By default, payment notifications show the client name and amount. You can customize this in Settings → Integrations → Slack.
Does this work with Slack Connect (shared channels)?
The notifications are sent to your internal Slack workspace channels. They are not designed for Slack Connect channels shared with clients.
Can I temporarily pause notifications?
Yes. You can disable the Slack integration at any time from Settings → Integrations without losing your configuration. Re-enable it to resume notifications.
